ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Must be able to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle short and long distances
• Effectively and Consistently conduct and document Pre-Trip, Mid-Trip, Post- Trip Inspections
• Maintain appropriate paperwork and log books
• Observe and report mechanical and safety failures
• Properly secure cargo and materials
• Complies with federal and state traffic laws
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Knowledgeable of Montana Department of Transportation Regulations
• Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
• At times, participate in labor assignments
• Works well under the direction of Dispatch and Construction Supervisors
• Works safely within the guidelines set forth by OSHA and the companies’ safety policy.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is required
• Provide a current medical certification
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred
• Experience in Construction is preferred
